| Bonding |
Bonding
is a vital part of cosmetic dentistry at our
clinic. Bonding essentially means connecting
some type of dental material to the natural
tooth. Many of us have broken or chipped teeth
and for years there was nothing available.
However, recent advances in dentistry have
led to the development of better bonding material.
Today, the majority of dentists use some type
of bonding process to correct defects in the
tooth and make it more attractive. Our Doctors
have an artistic eye and a delicate touch
that will make your smile make others ask
you, "Who is your dentist?" |
| Bridgeworks |
If you are missing one or more teeth, dental bridges can be used to close the gaps in your smile and support remaining teeth. The dental bridges at our practice are custom crafted for a secure and comfortable fit. These natural looking bridges combine durable artificial teeth with attractive porcelain dental crowns that have been matched to the natural shade of your teeth. Our dental bridges not only cosmetically enhance your smile, they also aid your chewing and add strength to your bite. |
| Braces |
For Cosmetic Dentists, there are a newer generation of braces that are more cosmetically aesthetic and efficient. These new devices are comfortable to wear and are extremely efficient at repositioning teeth. These newer orthodontic appliances are used at a much earlier age to straighten the teeth and provide a better outcome. The newer braces are also offering a hope to adult patients who want to have straight teeth and give you the smile that will make others smile. |
| Broken Teeth |
Broken teeth can be fully restored to their original shape and appearance with cosmetic dentistry. Choosing the right option and material is based on the individual’s unique circumstances. Dental Bonding and porcelain crowns and veneers are cosmetic options available to restore broken teeth. |
| Crowns |
Crowns become necessary when there is insufficient tooth structure to support a filling. Crowns cover the tooth completely, fitting just at the gumline and protecting the remaining tooth. Most crowns have a beautiful natural look and color that is customized to match your other teeth so that in your mouth a crown will look just like a natural tooth. Smiling again with your crown will make you feel happy again.

| Cosmetic Teeth Bleaching |
Cosmetic Tooth bleaching is chemical process used to lighten the color of a patient's tooth. The procedure can be performed entirely in the cosmetic dentist's office in only one or two visits.Your cosmetic dentist may first try a regular abrasive cleaning of the tooth. This may be followed by a bleaching process on the stained tooth or teeth. Severely stained teeth may require the use of a special whitening gel activated by a laser.
|
| Cosmetic Periodontics |
These procedures are a predictable way to cover unsightly, sensitive or exposed root surfaces and to prevent future gum recession. If you are unhappy with the appearance of short unsightly teeth this can be greatly improved by a combination of periodontal procedures making you confident about your appearance again. |
| Dental Implant |
In the last decade, there have been a variety of sturdy dental implants (artificial tooth) developed that can be attached directly to the surrounding structures and covered with realistic replacement teeth. Not only are these teeth functional, they can help restore self esteem and confidence in a person. Dental implants are a major cosmetic improvement. New dental implants are stable, sturdy, user friendly and functional. The other great advantage of dental implants is that they can give you your confidence to smile. |
| Dentures |
The loss of teeth can be a traumatic event that leads to diminished self-confidence, oral hygiene problems, and chewing difficulties. You use you mouth several times a day, so ideally a lost tooth needs to be replaced with something that is safe, comfortable, and beautiful. Cosmetic dentures are important for you smile and self esteem but also for your overall health because you need to be able to eat your nutritious vegetables. |
| ValplastDentures |
Valplast is a new flexible partial dentures, made from a specially made acrylic, which allows for bending and absorbing, without the use of metals. Most patients find this type of partials much user friendly, because of the ability of this material to flex and adapt to the soft tissues of the oral cavity. It also provides more of a cosmetic advantage than the metal. |
| Gum Disease |
Not even the most beautiful teeth can look attractive if healthy and pleasing-looking gums do not surround them. That's because the gums frame the teeth like a picture frame frames a picture. To have a pleasing smile, the shape, color, and texture of the gums are just as important as that of the teeth they frame. Although tooth development, periodontal disease, trauma, or tooth loss can create esthetic gum deformities, modern periodontal procedures can give individuals a smile to smile about. |
| Gum Lift |
Gum lift (crown lengthening) is a novel cosmetic dental procedure that is designed to elevate and resculpt the gum line. Many individuals have a beautiful set of teeth but the gums may be uneven, too thick or too low and ruin the attractive smile. Gum lift (also known as gingivectomy) essentially involves reshaping the tissue and/or underlying bone to create a more cosmetic or pleasing look or a proportioned appearance of teeth giving you a perfect smile in perfect proportions. |
| Invisalign |
The greatest benefit of the Invisalign is that you can get your teeth straightened without anyone knowing about it. This cosmetic advantage is one of the major reason why many people choose Invisalign over the conventional braces. The company which manufacturers these braces claims that Invisalign also leads to better oral hygiene compared to the traditional braces. Because the braces can be removed, one can practice oral hygiene and floss teeth in the regular way. Get back to smiling without anybody knowing you have braces! |
| Laser Whitening |
In the last decade, we have very fine pen-like portable lasers which can be held in the hand. Laser tooth whitening can be done in the office and is rapidly catching on. The majority of people who have had the procedure claim that the teeth show a significant improvement after the first session. The process takes about 1-2 hours and there is no additional home care required. Smile perfect, quick easy and painless. |
| Natural Looking Fillings |
We use natural looking, tooth-colored fillings to repair damage from decay, and also to replace older, unsightly silver fillings. Not only are these tooth colored fillings attractive, they are also highly durable and stain-resistant. The composite material used in these fillings adheres to the tooth for a tight seal, preventing future decay. The fillings are matched to the natural shade of your teeth, fabricated in office, and placed in one visit. |
| Micro Dental Abrasion |
Micro Dental Abrasion is a very safe procedure for the treatment of minimally discolored teeth. The majority of cosmetic surgeons recommend this therapy as a first step for the superficial stains. Today, Micro Dental Abrasion whitening techniques have been developed which can turn brown teeth into stunning milky white teeth. |
| Root Canal |
Once upon a time, if you had a tooth with a diseased nerve, you'd probably lose that tooth. Today, with a special dental procedure called a root canal therapy you may save that tooth. Inside each tooth is the pulp which provides nutrients and nerves to the tooth, it runs like a thread down through the root. When the pulp is diseased or injured, the pulp tissue dies. If you don't remove it, your tooth gets infected and you could lose it. After the dentist removes the pulp, the root canal is cleaned and sealed off to protect it. Then your dentist places a crown over the tooth to help make it stronger. |

| Snoring |
Snoring, or noisy breathing, affects nearly one of every three Americans. What causes snoring? Muscles in soft tissues in a snorer's throat and mouth relax during sleep, making the breathing airway smaller. The space becomes constricted and the speed of air flowing through it increases, causing soft tissue to vibrate. Excess body weight or use of alcohol and sedatives can further increase the severity. Schedule a consultation visit with our dentist and we may offer you an easy solution to a nagging problem. |
| Tooth Reshaping |
Is there a small defect in your smile that always draws your eye in the mirror? A chip in a front tooth, some worn edges, or shallow pits or grooves in the tooth enamel are all minor issues, but they do stand in the way of having a perfect smile. If you suffer from one or more of these problems -- even to the extent of a minor fracture or overlap -- they all can be fixed using a procedure known as tooth contouring and reshaping. |
| Tooth Extraction |
Tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth from its socket in the bone.
If a tooth has been broken or damaged by decay, your dentist will try to fix it with a filling, crown or other treatment. Sometimes, though, there's too much damage for the tooth to be repaired. This is the most common reason for extracting a tooth. |
| Teeth Whitening |
The term "whitening," refers to restoring a tooth’s surface color by removing dirt and debris. So any product that cleans (like a toothpaste) is considered a whitener. Of course, the term whitening sounds better than bleaching, so it is more frequently used — even when describing products that contain bleach. Our dentist will determine whether bleaching, whitening or detal abrasion is best for your smile. |
| TMJ syndrome |
The condition involves pain around the jaw joints and difficulty in moving the jaw due to inflammation. Pain and stiffness in the jaw naturally affects eating, talking and swallowing. Therefore, TMJ is a serious medical condition that impacts one’s health and well-being.TMJ therapies focus on alleviating pain and improving function. Our doctors recommends a full evaluation before any treatments are attempted. |
| Toothache |
There are various types of toothaches, each of which may signify a different type of oral health problem. Evaluation and diagnosis by a dental professional can determine the type of toothache you are suffering from, and its source. Sharp, Intermittent Tooth Sensitivity may indicate a small cavity. Chronic Toothache may indicate nerve damage or severe tooth decay. Intense, Throbbing Pain may indicate an infection or abscess,.Painful Eating may signal a cracked tooth. Back-of-the-Jaw Pain typically involves wisdom teeth. |
| Veneers |
Thanks to cosmetic dentistry, there is now a novel procedure that can remedy all your dental problems- this is the creation of dental veneers. These dental porcelain laminates or porcelain veneers are now worn by many people in show business. The dental veneer is a very fine custom made covering which can be worn to cover the front surface of the teeth. Veneers can make you smile like a movie star and improve your ability to socialize without worrying about your smile. |
| Wisdom Teeth |
Wisdom teeth are the third and final set of molars that most people get in their late teens or early twenties. Sometimes these teeth can be a valuable asset to the mouth when healthy and properly aligned, but more often, they are misaligned and require removal. |
| Zoom Whitening |
Zoom! is a bleaching process that lightens discoloration of enamel and dentin. You may have seen the Zoom! process used by me on ABC’s Extreme Makeover. The complete procedure takes less than an hour. The procedure begins with a preparation period followed as little as by 45 minutes of bleaching. |
| Exam and Cleaning |
Visit your dentist regularly for professional cleanings and oral exams. Regular dental exams are important in maintaining your smile and keeping your breath fresh and healthy. Because what good is a beautiful smile if you cant show it off because of your bad breath. |
| Halitosis |
Halitosis has a significant impact – personally and socially – on those who suffer from it and is estimated to be the third most frequent reason for seeking dentalaid. Regular checkups will allow your dentist to detect any problems such as periodontal (gum) disease, a dry mouth or other disorders that may be the cause. Maintaining good oral hygiene, eliminating periodontal (gum) disease and scheduling regular professional cleanings are essential to reducing bad breath. |
